TKR at Nordbygg 2026: Internal sealing of HVAC ducts, OVK compliance and the circular economy
TKR, together with its Swedish distributor AB Bioteknik & Ytbehandling and its Swedish installation partner Fluetec AB, will be exhibiting at Nordbygg 2026 in Stockholm on April 21–24. The Nordic region’s largest professional event for the construction and real estate sectors brings together approximately 900 exhibitors and 35,000 visitors — precisely the decision-makers whose agendas include the condition of HVAC ducts, passing OVK inspections and energy efficiency.
At our stand, we will address the question that determines the scope and cost of many renovation projects: what to do when an HVAC duct leaks, causes pressure losses or is located in structures so awkwardly that the repair method dictates the feasibility of the entire project? In Sweden, OVK (obligatorisk ventilationskontroll) requires ventilation to function properly, indoor air quality to be adequate and energy efficiency to be improved where possible. The need for demolition, disruption to residents and unnecessary waste are themes for which the real estate sector is now actively seeking alternatives.
The TKR system offers an internal sealing method that restores duct tightness without demolition and saves up to 75% compared to the cost of replacing the ductwork. The method is non-invasive, based on bio-based oil and odourless, and is suitable for the entire system, including suction chambers and fan rooms.
Come and discuss how internal sealing of HVAC ducts connects to OVK compliance, indoor air quality, energy efficiency and project manageability — and when extending the lifespan of existing ductwork is the technically and responsibly wisest solution.
